Services and Areas of Focus

Therapy is meant to be a completely individual experience, and that is exactly how Lisa treats it. Her role is to guide you as you take steps toward positive change, healing, and a healthier relationship with your own mind. Together you will work to better understand the challenges and daily stressors that get in the way of the life you want and begin building practical tools you can use immediately.

Lisa sees every client as a whole person, not an appointment. She brings deep compassion, zero judgment, and nearly 15 years of clinical experience to every session, drawing from both modern and evidence-based approaches to fit your specific needs. Everyone has the capacity for growth. The work is figuring out what that looks like for you.

Trauma & EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one of the most well-researched trauma treatments available. As an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant in Training, Lisa works with clients to process traumatic memories and reduce the hold the past has on present-day life. EMDR is effective for single-incident trauma as well as complex, relational, and developmental trauma.

Life Changes & Transitions

Major life transitions, relationship changes, loss, career shifts, identity questions, and the particular pressures facing young adults can destabilize even the most resilient people. Lisa helps clients navigate change with practical tools they can use immediately, not just insight about why things are hard.

Depression & Sadness

Sometimes the weight of life accumulates in ways that are hard to name. Lisa works with clients experiencing depression, low self-esteem, and persistent sadness to identify what's underneath and begin building toward something different.

Anxiety

Anxiety often makes sense when you understand where it came from. Lisa works with clients to untangle the roots of anxiety, not just manage symptoms, using a combination of cognitive, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches.

Addiction & Recovery

As a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) with clinical training in residential and outpatient addiction settings, Lisa brings both expertise and compassion to work with clients navigating substance use and recovery. She works with individuals and family members affected by addiction.

Self-Harm & Self-Esteem

Lisa works with adolescents and adults struggling with self-harm, self-worth, and the internal criticism that drives both. This work is approached with deep compassion and no judgment; the goal is understanding, not shame.
